In this article, Jack also confirms that there will be a tour following the release of "Sleep Through the Static".
"Jack Johnson has revealed that he loves being a dad so much that he can't bear to be parted from his children. The Hawaiian singer, who has two sons, said: "I miss them, even now. I started traveling a lot and playing primarily acoustic guitar when I was making the surf films. So a lot of the records have been acoustic-based, and this one, it’s maybe fifty-fifty. There’s a little bit more electric on this record, but the style isn’t so different.”
